God Is Always at Work in the Micro and Macro

Sitting in my living room this morning, I looked around the room. Nothing moved. Nothing made a sound. I looked out the window at our back deck. The pine trees. None of them moved, not even a branch.

The thought occurred to me, that no matter how still and calm things may seem, there is always movement in the micro world and macro world, on the cellular and atomic levels, in the billions of stars and galaxies.

In the same way, I thought, no matter how undetectable the workings of God may be, he is always at work in the mircro and macro worlds.

All praise and glory to Almighty God, who is always at work in our lives, moving people in and out of our lives in seemingly mysterious ways, to accomplish his holy and true will.

"O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!" (Romans 11:33)
